The Practice
DUA Architecture LLP is a practice with a broad portfolio and firm committment to quality design. Since its inception by David Underhill in 1988 it has received nearly a thousand commissions. Here’s a snapshot :

• We’re a small practice (never more than 5 people) which enables us to provide all our clients with a personal service.
• Virtually all our work arrives through recommendation.
• Ours is an RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) Chartered Practice
• We are constantly exploring the latest technologies in order to improve the speed and quality of our service.
• Private individuals account for about 65% of our workload.
• Our studio is located in the Bramble Lane Conservation Area of Highcliffe. Don’t let this fool you into thinking that we are conservationists; we seek every opportunity to indulge in contemporary design, about which we are unashamedly passionate.
• Our work has appeared in numerous magazines. You might have seen one of our houses on ‘Grand Designs’. We were the winners of the Highcliffe Cliff Top Cafe competition (sadly our winning scheme was not built).
• We are always busy, love Apple Macs, loathe PC’s, brew too much coffee and eat too many cakes.
